I personally Believe that the Roman Catholic Church should focus on the things that the All Christians agree with rather than poaching Anglican vicars who disagree with women moving up the church hierarchical ladder.
They stole our vicars, when they was a big who harr with women becoming priests. I see no reason why women can not become bishops, after all, when Jesus had risen from the dead he appeared to a couple of Women First and he then said to them (according to Matthew) “Don’t be afraid. Go and tell my followers to go on to Galilee, and they will see me there.”
Total Unity I believe is not far off but it will most likely need something extraordinary to make it happen, probably involving a Confirmed Anglican, a someone who goes to a Roman Catholic church who has Not been Confirmed and a Roman Catholic Bishop, similar to what happened in a few of my dreams that I remember. A cathedral formed out of Railway Carriages might have something to do with it as well.
I am hoping on a date as close to the 2nd April 2010 as possible, to deliver a talk on Living With Autism to Olney Residents, as I was diagnosed with it when I was 11. This is not quite Communion, but if my talk on Living With Autism was to go ahead, both RC and Anglican Churches will be represented by Ordained Leader attending. The RC Priest said he would attend if he was free and that evening, all I would have to do is Inform my Anglican Lady Vicar. This marks the start of Co - operation. The year 2009 was the first year the Roman Catholic Priest made an appearance at a Combined Churches Project.
It has happened before, as the previous RC Priest lead a prayer at the dismissal of the Shriving Service on Pancake Day, I was told this by a reliable informant at the Parish Church.

there will never be unity between the churches. the roman catholic church is the oldest church in existence that worships Christ as a saviour... to say that they are "poaching" vicars is somewhat misinformed considering the Anglican's formation was under the brutality of Henry VIII weilding his iron fist across the UK and burning Scottish and Irish people out of their homes for simply believing in the religion which defied his perverse opinion on how a nation should think and feel.
ReplyDeleteAnd think and feel is the crux of the matter... how can such an established and relatively "new" religion take place over the internal spirituality which courses through everyones veins, making them individualistic with the ultimate (mostly) unconscious goal within all living entities to reach the Supreme. The established organised church, be it catholic, anglican, seventh day or whatever is a modern day farce built upon dogma, prejudice, power and money. if you disagree, explain all of these institutions reluctance, nay refusal, to accept the archaeological proven existence of the dead sea scrolls and the Book of Judas? I look forward to your thoughts...

ReplyDeleteI did not know that did not know that there was such a book as Judas. Every Christian knows that Judas is the disciple who betrayed Jesus with a kiss. He sold him to the Romans for 30 pieces of silver, There is no such book as Judas in any Bible that I have read or looked in. I know that only 4 of the Gospels (most likely out of 11 or 12) made it to the Bible.

That sir, is because in the formation of the scripts that make up the Bible, the Church of the time (estimated around 100-150BC) decided what people "did and didn't need to know about". The remaining or contentious texts which involved stories of both Jesus' early relationships as a child, his misuse of his power as an infant and indeed a story of him actually striking somebody dead for bumping into him we're not deemed fit for the masses and the ensuing and planned centuries of dogma and fear mongering the Church had planned ahead of them. These we're subsequently buried in Egypt and have only been discovered this century.
